Best Clip-on Corded Mic Ever

Vidpro XM-L Wired Lavalier microphone - 20' Audio Cable. Don't let the price or the cord fool you. This little mic is the mic you didn't know you needed.

What I like most

  • Omni directional condenser microphone

  • High-quality condenser is ideal for video use

  • Low handling noise

3.5mm jack (you will need a toggle/adapter to use with your smartphone)

I've been using this BOYA mic since May 2021 and this little mic DELIVERS, especially at this price point. If you don't mind being 'corded', this mic is a great choice. I honestly use this mic on my smartphone when doing self-tape auditions.

I do have a Rode mic and I love it, but it catches some of the surrounding sounds in my apartment building when there's a lot of activity or construction going on. I attach this BOYA mic onto my tripod the best way I can (it's not pretty and I'll provide a photo below) and it works amazingly. Ask any one of the people I've coached or put on tape. Of course, it sounds great if you clip it to your person, or hold it in your hand. I've done OS (off-screen) voice work for auditions using this mic, by just holding it in my hand. No matter how I'm using it, it always delivers.

This mic is the little engine that could, would, did, and does!

I love a good deal and this is a perfect example that you don't have to spend a lot of money to get a quality product.

Note: BOYA Clip-On Mic is compatible with Smartphones, DSLR's, Camcorders, Audio recorders, PC, etc
