What I like most
These easy breezy lids are a must-have if you use mason jars for food or juice storage.
We all know how "high maintenance" the regular canning jar lids can be. Taking them off takes a little effort and we have to wash and dry them immediately to keep them from rusting. That's where these leak-proof lids come in handy. Especially for items that you're going to use in a short amount of time.
I use these for the fresh juices I batch and will consume within 24 -36 hours. Or a tonic that I'm taking twice a day for the next 2-3 days. I use them for soup I'm going to store in the fridge and eat within 3-4 days. Or I use them for soups that I place inside the freezer to thaw out and eat later.
This screw-on, one-piece plastic cap turns mason jars into practical storage containers for the pantry, refrigerator, or freezer.
Use the leak-proof caps for opened jams and jellies, as well as dry storage items. Not for use for home canning
